I told you guys already I am a bread girlie lol, see I’m not lying lol, and although traditional yeast breads are my weakness I tend to make quick breads when I am lazy. Yes, although they are not bread in a traditional sense, they get the job done when I have a craving for something like this cheese bread. I love some traditional bread however I don’t always want to wait the allotted time it takes to make bread. That’s why I enjoy making quick bread because they are in and out and ready to eat in about 30 minutes or less. For the recipe I am about to share with you, I had some cheese I needed to get rid of (yes, I had no other use for it at the time lol) and I wanted a cheesy bread that wasn’t necessarily pizza or bread sticks so I decided to make this yummy quick bread.
The recipe is very easy to make and with the use of some simple pantry ingredients, you’ll be indulging in this yummy bread the way I did in no time. It is customizable so enjoy being creative.

What You’ll Need
- 260g Ap flour
- 15g baking powder
- 4g salt
- 100g (2 eggs)
- 95g butter (melted)
- 170g milk
- 120 cheddar cheese (grated)
How To Make It
- Combine eggs and salt together then whisk.
- Pour milk into the mixture and whisk.
- Add melted butter and mix.
- Add grated cheese to batter and mix.
- Sift dry ingredients (flour & baking powder) into mixture.
- Stir mixture until flour is fully absorbed into batter. DO NOT OVER MIX
- Prepare and grease baking pan.
- Pour batter into pan and use a palette knife (or back of spoon) to spread batter evenly in pan ahead of baking.
- Bake for about 20-25 mins at 350F, top should be golden brown. Cool before eating.

Things To Note
- If you do not have a loaf pan, you can make mini muffins with this batter. Yup try it.
- You can use cheese of choice (preferably melty types). I used cheddar since that was all I had.
- Overmixing the batter will result in a tough product and tunneling (hole throughout baked product)
- Use salt of choice. I used Himalayan salt as that was all I had at the time.
- Bread can be eaten warm and toasted slathered in butter. Delish.

If you love cheese then this quick bread is for you and a great way to use up old cheese. Plus, having cheese in every bite makes this worth it! I hope you enjoy eating this as much as I did. It’s perfect for breakfast with eggs, with your favourite soup or toasted with butter.
Let me know if you make this recipe.
